Team "Robota” (Yulia Kniazev, Nir Forer, Orly Yeruham), who built a bot that enables people to file independent claims at Israel's labor courts.

Nearly 100 people participated in Israel's 1st Legal Hackathon, hosted by Fischer Behar Chen Well Orion & Co in collaboration with Tech&Law Israel.

Fischer Behar Chen Well Orion & Co (FBC & Co) in collaboration with Tech&Law Israel are proud to host Israel's 1st Legal Hackathon, which will be held in Tel-Aviv  during February 22 and 23, 2018 as part of the Global Legal Hackathon initiative.

 

This extraordinary global event is bringing together the legal industry with tech and innovation across 6 continents, reaching over 25 countries, 50 cities, and 10,000 participants, with one purpose: rapid development of solutions for improving the legal industry world-wide.

 

As Israel's 1st Legal Hackathon, this promises to be the main legal innovation event of the year in Israel, creating a one-of-a-kind opportunity to combine the tremendous experience and entrepreneurship of the local hi-tech community and the leading legal minds in the country, with the aim of creating innovative legaltech solutions to further improve the legal service delivery in Israel.

 

Finally, Israel known throughout the world as both the "Startup Nation" and the "Land of Lawyers" thanks to its vibrant and innovative technological ecosystem and the highest number of lawyers per capita in the world, is participating in a global legal innovation initiative of this magnitude!

During the hackathon we will provide drinks and food.




Is it possible to stay overnight?


Yes.




Do I need to have proficiency in the legal field and/or programming skills to participate?


No, it is not obligatory. Projects can be created without legal proficiency or programming skills. Mentors and other experts will provide guidance during the hackathon.




Is it possible to a person without a team to participate in the hackathon?


Yes, it is possible. However, we recommend you to find a team.




Can I join a team prior to the hackathon?


Teams can form prior to the event, or at the event kick-off.




What do I have to bring to the hackathon?
